Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tacki Garage mobile application ("the App"), developed and operated by Connor Bowers ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Tacki Garage, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Tacki Garage. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App.

2. Your Account

You must create an account to use Tacki Garage. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately at tackigarage@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Free Features

Tacki Garage offers certain features at no cost, including maintenance reminders and basic vehicle management.

Premium Subscription

Access to premium features — including photo uploads, receipt attachments, gallery, build timeline, and cost tracking — requires a paid subscription.

Billing

  • Subscriptions are offered on a monthly or yearly basis
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • A 14-day free trial is available to new subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan.

Managing or Cancelling Your Subscription

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partially used subscription periods.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. We will provide reasonable notice of any price changes. Continued use of the App after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

4. User Content

Tacki Garage allows you to upload photos and create records related to your vehicles ("User Content"). You retain ownership of all User Content you submit.

By uploading content to Tacki Garage, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the App for you.

You agree not to upload content that:

  • Violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Is obscene, harassing, or otherwise objectionable

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Tacki Garage only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its infrastructure
  • Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
  • Use automated scripts or bots to access the App

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Tacki Garage — including but not limited to the design, logo, text, graphics, and software — are owned by Connor Bowers and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

"Tacki Garage" and associated branding are the property of Connor Bowers. You may not use our branding without prior written permission.

7. Disclaimers

Tacki Garage is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • Any data stored in the App will be free from loss or corruption
  • The App will meet your specific requirements

Vehicle maintenance information provided within the App is for organizational purposes only and does not constitute professional mechanical advice. Always consult a qualified mechanic for vehicle service decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Connor Bowers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including loss of data, vehicle damage, or any other losses.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Tacki Garage at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at tackigarage@gmail.com.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts located in Colorado.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
